Cristian Antoniotti is leaving Goldentyre
After more than seven years Cristian Antoniotti is leaving ‚Goldentyre‘. Here you find his announcement to the media.
"I’d like to inform you, that I just stepped down from being Goldentyre’s Race Manager and I am also leaving the company. After thorough analysis I finally decided, to leave seven very intense and greatly successful years behind and set myself new goals.
Graham Jarvis and Cristian Antoniotti.
For seven years Goldentyre-Boss Marco Caribotti (l) and Cristian Antoniotti (r) were searching together for the "best solution".
My story with Goldentyre started in 2008 when I switched from managing a team in the ‚Renault World Series‘ to the italian ‚Flite’ Extreme Enduro Team. As Sport Director I had the pleasure to go along with Graham Jarvis on his way to become the almost invincible King of Extreme Enduro. During this time we refined the approach that the race track is the best research laboratory. Later on with Goldentyre I also found the opportunity to keep ‚Racing‘ and ‚Development‘ as close together as possible. The feedback of the riders was immediately considered in the evolution of a new tyre. In this way I was involved in the development of new tires like the 'Goldentyre 216 X‘, which set a new standard for offroad tyres working under extreme conditions. I am still convinced, that professional racing is the best way to develop reliable products for the big markets.
I will always be grateful for my time with ‚Goldentyre‘. I will for sure miss the team and I will never forget the ups we celebrated and the the downs we overcame. The next weeks I am planning to have a little time out for my family." (Cristian Antoniotti)
